The venue is spacious and fairly clean with a good value and incredibly nice staff. The location is particularly good and they have parking on-site. Recommend this hotel, really enjoyed our stay here.

The room at The Catar Cottages was cozy, with a TV and a private bathroom. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning in the double room was a lifesaver! We stayed cool even in the hottest weather. We absolutely loved having a balcony in our room. It was the perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee. The seating area in the double room was a great addition. It gave us a place to relax and unwind after a long day.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the free toiletries provided in the bathroom.

We recently stayed at a lovely accommodation in Nusa Penida called Catar Cottages. the host, Nyoman, was incredibly nice and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He helped us book tours at great prices and recommended fantastic local warungs. Instead of scuba diving, he convinced us to try snorkelling, and it turned out to be the best decision after our first amazing snorkelling experience. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious and beautifully presented breakfast he prepared for us every day, which included eggs, fruit salad, and coffee/tea. the cottage itself was simple yet clean and tidy, with a peaceful location surrounded by nature. Nyoman also offered scooter rentals at a fair price, making it easy to explore the island. Catar Cottages provided excellent value for money, and we highly recommend it to fellow travellers in search of an affordable and clean place to stay. Cons: Nothing could have been better! 👌.
